Potential and current Board Members are required to establish and maintain good favor and/or good terms with the Colorado Karate Association, to include adhering to guidelines and requirements required to host a Marital Arts Tournament. (See Promoter Requirements Here)
Additional duties required, but not limited to:
- Establish and maintain good favor and/or good terms with the Colorado Karate Association; to include following and enforcing rules and guidelines set forth by the Colorado Karate Association Board of Directors, and maintaining an active CKA Membership.
- To attend all Colorado Karate Association Board meetings. Non-attendance must be approved by President and/or Vice President prior to meeting.
- To assist in set up, tear down and complete any assigned duties for all Colorado Karate Association Hosted Tournaments. Non-attendance must be approved by President and/or Vice President prior to tournament.
- To assist in enforcing all rules, requirements, and policies set forth by the Colorado Karate Association Board of Directors as it related to tournament formats. (See Rulebook Here)
- It is recommended, if you are interested in becoming a Board Member, to begin attending board meetings and become active in judging at tournaments, prior to submitting your resume, which is required to enter the voting election for CKA Board. (See Election Rules Here)
